So...today is
Jentry's 7 month birthday. We are working really hard on sitting up, she is eating any jarred food I put in front of her...with the exception of blueberries, she seems to be allergic to them, and she has grown out of her shoes and we had to go shoe shopping this week. As always I can't believe another has passed and we are now closer to her 1 year birthday than we are to the day she arrived...ahhhh...it is all happening so fast! In fact, today she had her first school pictures. I thought I had at least 4 years until I would be dealing with the issue of what to wear for school pics but this is not the cause...I had to worry about it TODAY!! Not only did I have to worry about 1 outfit but I had to send 2 just in case she spit up or pooped on the first outfit. Of course picking out the first was hard enough...not to mention having to come up with two. Needless to say, she did not spit up or poop and she had her pics taken in the first outfit. I will post them as soon as we get them back...now it's a waiting game! I asked
Jentry's "teachers," Miss Monica and Miss Sam how the pics went and they couldn't get
Jentry to smile...ugh...oh well, such is life!
On another note we have a prayer request to send out. Hayden is a 5 month old little girl in
Jentry's class and she unexpectedly lost her mother last night. The family has 3 children, 2 boys and Hayden. Please pray for strength for the father and that God will wrap his arms around these 3 small children who will have to grow up without their Mom.
The other morning I went outside to leave for work and I quickly ran back in the house to let Jack know that he MUST cover Jentry or put her carrier cover on. He decided to use her carrier cover...and then we both had the same idea...she is so stinking cute peeking out of her carrier cover that we both took pics without knowing that the other one had taken them! He took them in the morning and then when I got home with her in the afternoon I took them too! Here are a few for you to enjoy. I also have to brag for a quick sec...today I had a cleaning appt at the dentist after school. So I picked up Jentry and drove to the dentist...I was hoping she would sleep through my appointment and it would go off without a hitch...well she was awake when we got there so I took off her cover and she sat like a gem in her carseat for the entire 45 minute appt! I was so proud of her for being so content! Ok...now for the pics...
Holy Cow...we have been working with Jentry on this sitting up stuff and I didn't think we were getting anywhere...she prefers to use her Boppy as a La-Z-Boy
or 
eat her toes while I'm trying my hardest to get her to sit up...so anyhow...it seems as if the extra work her "teachers" at "school" have been putting in is working! Here are some pictures of her!
