Rockin' the Giraffe

For Jentry's birthday she received a cool rocking giraffe as a gift. She has finally learned how to climb on and off of it all by herself. Jack captured these pictures of her on Sunday. She is so darn cute! (Yes, I know we are biased around here!)

Congrats Shawn!

Our nephew Shawn graduated from high school this past Friday. Jack, his brother, his dad, Deby, and his mom were able to travel to Tennessee to cheer Shawn on. We are all so proud of his accomplishment. He is the first one in his family (His mom, his dad and him) to graduate from high school!!! Shawn will be attending the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in the fall! Surgery

As I said in the last post, Jentry had surgery today. We were very thankful that we could come home and sleep in our own beds this evening. Jentry had a hard time waking up from the anesthesia, but once we were finally able to get her to drink some apple juice we were able to go home!! Yay! Here are some pictures from our day. I must say it is terribly hard as a parent to watch a nurse take your toddler away to have surgery and you aren't able to be there when she wakes up. Both times Jentry has had surgery she has been brought back to the room in tears. Playing Before Surgery

Today Jentry had surgery to have her adenoids removed and an new set of tubes put in. Before the nurse took her back to surgery we were told to put her in a gown and wait...while we were waiting she was playing on Jack's lap. Here are a few videos of her in motion.

I'm not eating that!

I'm pretty sure if Jentry could talk she would have been saying "You want me to eat that with my hands? You are crazy, Mom! I'm NOT eating that!" She did however find a way to completely cover herself in the stew I had given her for lunch one day. Needless to say we headed straight to the bathtub after lunch! Mom...are you serious I have to eat this?I'm not eating it, I don't care what you say! I'm going to get Dad...DAAAAADAAAA....Please come save me!!! I don't want to eat this.

Climbing in the cupboard

Jentry has a new found fascination with the Tupperware cupboard. This could be because she can only peek into the other cupboards as they are all baby locked with the only exception being the Tupperware cupboard. She has taken to climbing into the cupboard to reach all of the Tupperware and throw it out onto the kitchen floor. She is awefully cute when she does this. Thank you Ally!

In case you didn't know, Jack and I play on a coed softball team. It is called Captain Jack's Crew...can you tell who the coach of that team is? Anyhow, one of my co-workers Ben plays on our team and his girlfriend Ally is kind enough to watch Jentry while we play. A few weeks ago we came home to this picture...Jentry was sound asleep in Ally's arms, and Ally was loving it! Thank you so much Ally for taking good care of our Jentry while her Mommy and Daddy play ball :) We really appreciate it.

For Mother's day we had the pleasure of having our Mom's over for dinner. It was so good to spend time with our Mommas! However, I don't know that we got the camera out one time :( I think thats what happens when 4 little ones converge on our house! However, I'm so excited because Jentry bought me a new flip video camera so you should see some posts with videos of her in them to come. Here are a few now :)
