My Birthday Present

I asked for new sunglasses for my birthday and tonight Jack, Jentry, and I went to pick some out. I love the ones I picked out. They are Dangerous by Oakley and I found them at Revolver which is a very cool shoe store in Central Indiana. My new Oakleys are not something that I would have picked out had I not tried them on, but after trying them on, I LOVE THEM!!! Here they are
My new Dangerous Oakleys came with a soft cloth and a cool hard case! Boy oh boy do I love these :)

Just getting ready for bed

Tonight while we were getting Jentry ready for bed, Jack snapped these pictures of her. We love the happy smiley one!Please daddy pick me up! Rescue me from this going to bed stuff!
Just reading Llama, Llama, Red Pajama with my Mama. This book is super cute and it comes highly recommended from both Jenna and Jentry!

I can't reach it :(

Jentry was reaching for something in the bottom of her toy box when she got into this predicament 2 times the other day. It was to cute to see her bottom up in the air while she squawked to be rescued. The 2nd time it happened I decided to take a few pics before rescuing her :) Nice mom...I know!

It's Corny!

This past weekend at Mimi and Pop's house Jentry had her first taste of Sweet Corn. She loved it and we loved watching her enjoy it. She made it awefully hard for me to eat but it was enjoyable to see her enjoy something that we all love too :)

The Princess gets her first Tiara

Mimi came to visit last week and she finally brought Jentry's treat bag with her. In Jentry's treat bag was some fun stuff including a tiara and a pair of purple sunglasses. Take at look at the princess and her tiara...she isn't too sure what to do with it, and when you put it on her head she screams! Fun stuff :) Apparently my mommy wants me to wear this thing on my head...

But I'm not doing it, I will look at it, I will play with it, but I will not wear it!

And yes, if you are wondering I ALWAYS get my way...the making of a true princess!

The Boot

I'm absolutely fed up already with this darn boot cast. I hate it and I wish I knew if wearing this thing for the next 4 weeks was even going to do anything worthwhile! I mean a 50% chance of having surgery anyhow doesn't seem like very good odds to me...but I'm not really a betting person. I'm sure my readers (all 3 of you :) are wondering why in the world I'm in a boot cast in the first place...well here is a short version of the story...On 5/10/10 I tripped leaving work and apparently chipped a bone in my ankle in the process and of course this piece of bone has a tendon attached to it. If wearing this boot for the next 4 weeks doesn't heal the chipped bone then I will have to have surgery to remove the chipped piece of bone and attach the tendon to the bone that is left...this will leave me on the couch with very minimal movement for 6 weeks...Here is a picture of the cast :(

Enjoying the 4th of July

For the 4th of July we like to go to Jenna's parents house. They live on a lake and there are fireworks set off right across the lake from their house. The fireworks are always good, and this year was no different. Jentry had been on a nap strike so she fell asleep at 7pm and slept all night, even with all of the noise! The Gator

Mimi and Pop also have a toy John Deere Gator that Noah is big enough to drive and since there are 2 seats I thought it would be cool if Jentry would ride on it with him. I was not expecting her to ride at all...but as you can tell she really enjoyed the ride! Noah was a good big cousin and drove her all around and even recovered the pink cell phone! These videos make me smile :) There are 2 separate videos. Make sure you watch them both and listen to Noah talk to Jentry, he is too cute!

Motorcycle Mama?

Jentry had a great time at Mimi and Pop's house over the 4th of July. She has lots of toys to play with there that we don't have at our house. One of them is a motorized 4 wheeler that is just her size. In this video not only is she wearing an outfit that says Born to hunt, but she is riding on a 4 wheeler that is camouflaged. Sorry I'm laughing in the video and it gets a bit shaky! Enjoy it :)
