Our School Girl

Today was picture day at Jentry's school and we decided to put her in her new "school girl" outfit. She had on a pleated skirt with a yellow long sleeved t-shirt and pigtails in her hair. Her teacher told me this afternoon that Jentry refused to smile...this didn't surprise me since she refused to let Jack take good pictures of her this morning.

Another Home Improvement

Mind you this is a small home improvement, but I still LOVE the new light that Jack installed on our back porch this past weekend. It is a HUGE improvement over our old rusted light. The old rusted lightThe Worker Bee working on the new light

The awesome finished product :)

Bath Time Giggles

Tonight in the tub Jentry got the giggles and I couldn't help but video her. Jack and I just love listening to her giggle...make sure to turn up your speakers :)

"Reading"

Jentry has been pointing at pictures in this wonderful book Mimi bought her for quite a while now, however lately she is also saying what she is pointing at, or will repeat what you say. Again, not great video quality, but those of you who don't get to see her very often will still enjoy hearing her :)

Talking about Elmo

Jentry has become quite the talker lately. Today I captured this video of her being silly. She had a pillow from our couch, a hand towel, and her Elmo book and she was chatting away sitting on the kitchen floor. Sorry about the video quality, I'm not that great of a videographer...but I hope you enjoy it.

Toward the end of the video you will hear her say good bye to the fishes. She tells them good bye every morning before Jack takes her to "school"

Fishing in the UP

This past week Jack, my brother Jon, and my Dad were fishing in the UP of Michigan. They caught enough fish to enjoy it there and also came home with some for a fish fry! Jack always seems to capture some cool pictures and then he gets the typical guy pictures. Here is 1 neat picture, and then a few of the manly ones.

Our Perfect Cheerleader

I bought Jentry this little Indiana University cheerleader outfit this summer and I couldn't wait for football season to come around so she could wear it on game days. It fits her perfectly and I love to see her playing in it. Jentry is a perfectly petite cheerleader right now! If we could freeze time she just might be small enough to be a real IU cheerleader :)Working on the perfect cheerleader smile :)Accessorizing like a true cheerleaderThe "Coach" explaining that as a representative of IU, you must be on your best behavior at all times...and don't even think of going to class without your Lipstick on!I got it "Coach!"

After a long day of rocking a smile and perfect ponytail, even the littlest, cutest, IU cheerleader needs some sleep! Jentry you were a perfect cheerleader today :)

New Hairstyle?

After Jentry's bath the other night, Jack enjoyed giving her a few funny hairstyles. Unfortuantly they are both old man hairstyles.
Can you guess who this is?
Yep, this is the Gene Keady look!
Can you guess who this is?If you guessed Donald Trump...you got it! However we think she is much cuter than either of those guys :)

Congrats Betsy and Aaron

Over Labor Day we traveled to Green Bay, Wisconsin to celebrate Betsy and Aaron's wedding. It was a cold, windy day in the Bay, but Jentry still had fun running around with her cousins Noah and Millie, and getting her Great Uncle Scott to get her any food she wanted!Come on Uncle Scott...Just one more cookie...I don't think my mommy and daddy are watching us!Jentry, Noah, and Millie enjoying another cookie! No wonder she didn't eat much at dinner! She must have her Daddy's love of cookies.

Littlest Chef

On August 29th, Jack and I went to ToysRUs and bought Jentry a new kitchen. While she was taking her afternoon nap we put the kitchen together. You can see the excitement on her face as she played with her kitchen for the first time. Thanks Mommy and Daddy!! I love my new kitchen. It is so much fun!Could you help me reach my phone...I'm sure someone is trying to call me!

Just Playing

One Sunday morning in July, Jack and Jentry were up...I was enjoying sleeping in :) Jack shot these pictures of Jentry enjoying her toys. Sitting in her chair reading a book from the Zoo in Green Bay."Daddddddy...please play with me!!!"Enjoying her rocking giraffe.

Enjoying some Chic-fil-a

Yes, it's true, Jack and I love Chic-Fil-a...so it's no surprise that Jentry enjoyed her first time eating their delicious nuggets! Check out that smile! I'll have 1 more please!Yea, those nuggets were "Yum, Yum"

Potty Practice?!?

So...Nana bought Jentry a potty chair, but we aren't quite ready to start potty training yet...so it has become "practice" for Jentry! I'm thinking she must be working on her pooping technique...has a book and is just checking it out as she sits! Isn't this what men do?
