Halloween 2011

For Halloween this year, Jentry asked if she could be a dog....a black dog to be exact...so when I set out to find her a costume all I could find were brown dogs.  I asked her if she would be a brown dog instead of a black one and she happily said yes.  She made a cute brown dog.  She would even make the tail wag :)  She did such a good job trick or treating.  She had a hard time getting trick or treat out at each house, but she did say Happy Halloween and Thank you to each home owner.  We were so proud of her, she lasted over an hour walking around our neighborhood.

Mowing the Lawn

We have a tradeoff that happens here at our house.  Jack makes dinner and I mow the lawn.  Apparently I'm already teaching Jentry to follow in my foot steps!  She loves to come out and "mow" while I'm mowing. I love the 4th picture where you can just see my feet in the distance and she's following behind me.  She's such a good little mower :) 

Riding the Ferris Wheel

On the "boardwalk" in Daytona Beach, Jentry spotted a ferris wheel.  So on Thursday night we took her on a ride on the ferris wheel.  She really enjoyed the ride.  It was a cool way to see the city and sights of Daytona Beach.

Florida 2011

In October, Jack, Jentry, Nana, and I traveled to Florida.  We drove to Daytona Beach for a week of fun in the sun.  Well...I would like to say it was sunny...but as you can see from our pictures we didn't see too much sun...but we still had a great time and Jentry loved the ocean...She was so fun to watch in the waves :)

Our Little Ballerina

This fall we started Jentry in ballet.  She enjoyed being in Miss Kelley's class at Wishes Dance Studio.  We had planned to do the 2nd fall session but due to our vacation and an illness we have to wait for the winter sessions to start before Jentry can go back to ballet. 

Uncle Willie's Farm

 Over Labor Day weekend, Jentry, Noah, and Millie, were able to go to my Uncle Willie's house to feed a calf and collect some eggs. The kids had a blast and were so cute.

Riding on Grandma's Walker

Whenever Jentry can, she loves to climb up on "Mommy's Grandma Kauffman's" walker.  Of course my Grandma loves to push Jentry around.  Notice the horn on Grandma's walker??  Jentry loves to honk that horn too :) 

The State Fair 2011

In August we made our annual trek to the state fair.  This year it was so fun to let Jentry enjoy a few rides.  She loved the carousel, cars, spinning dragons, and a small "roller coaster" 

Big Girl Bed

In July, Jack and I decided it was time to move Jentry out of her toddler bed and into a big girl bed.  So Jack went to the mattress store and picked out a nice full size bed for Jentry.  We bought sheets and a comforter and here she is on the first night in her big girl bed.  She loves it!

After my surgery today Jentrys teacher Ms. Liz offered to watch Jentry for a few hours...here is a picture from their trip to the ballpark to watch 2 of Ms. Liz's sons play baseball. Jentry came home with a smile on her face :)  Thank you Ms. Liz
