Surgery Day

On February 16, 2011, Jentry had surgery for the 3rd time in her short little life. She had to have her adenoids removed again and her sinuses irrigated. She was a brave little girl and did a great job at the surgery center. Everything went great and she is now home and happily sleeping in her crib. Talking with Daddy all about the stickers she just put all over him!Putting stickers all over her Daddy...anything to keep her mind off of that gown...she hates the gown!Checking out her new yellow pillow and telling her Daddy all about it!Trying out her new yellow pillow before surgery.Sleeping in her bed at the surgery center with blankie, Jelly Bear and her new yellow pillow.

It's my Party...

On February 12 we had Jentry's 2nd birthday party at our house. It was just a small gathering with family. She was very shy once everyone arrived. She was surprised by her cousin Noah showing up with Mimi and Pop and got to enjoy opening many nice gifts. She had a great time at her party and has enjoyed playing with all of her new toys...and I'm looking forward to putting her new outfits on her in the Spring. Blowing out her birthday candle with Pop.Noah telling Jentry how her new toy works...and making sure she knows it is from HIM!Jentry looking at all of her presents to open.Jentry, Noah, and Mommy checking out Jentry's new Dora tricycle. Jentry with another new tricycle. She loves them both!

Morning Routine

As Jentry approaches 2 her morning routine has changed a little bit. She still gets up around 6:00, but now she likes to lay in bed with Daddy for a few minutes before going to the "big girl" potty and then getting dressed. After she is dressed and has her hair done she gets her cereal bar and a cup of juice and then finds her La-Z-Boy to watch a bit of Dora before Daddy takes her to "school" Now many of you know that I am not a big fan of her watching TV, but we have come to the conclusion that 20 minutes of Dora, one time a day isn't going to corrupt her too much or cause her to be a couch potato, so anyhow, here she is enjoying some juice and a bit of Dora!

Hiding from Daddy

2 weeks ago Jentry found a spot under the table to hide from Daddy. He coaxed her out at one point because he had Blackie, her black lab stuffed animal, she took Blackie from her Daddy, ran to the table, threw Blackie under the table with all of her other animals, her pillow, and one blankie and crawled under there and laid down. We got quite a kick out of her. Jentry had never done this before.

Looks like a BIG GIRL!

Jentry got this outfit for Christmas and I just LOVE it! I think it makes her look like such a big girl. The jeans are wide legged with 3 jewels at the bottom of each leg, and a cute cloth belt around the waist...for some reason I think the pants just make her look so grown up.

Not sure what I want to be...

Jentry isn't sure what she wants to be...she goes from a hippie to a thug with the change of a hat...on this day she was in a Detroit Thug mood. Her momma thinks she's cute no matter what hat she is wearing :)

Jentry's 2nd Christmas

Santa was good to Jentry this year. He brought her a little recliner and fun stuff in her stocking. Mommy and Daddy got her a wagon, books, and clothes. She enjoyed Christmas morning and so did Jack and I!Our silly Santa drinks the beer...leaves the milk and a mess...what will we do with that man?Jentry's gifts delivered by Santa, just waiting for her to wake up and tear into them!Jentry sitting in her new recliner opening her stocking and checking out her Lifesaver book :)After Jentry opened her gifts she wanted to be pulled around in her wagon, of course it was too cold where we live to do that outside so her parents pulled her around the house! After her rides she sat in her wagon and read her new books! She is a silly little girl.

PS Thank you Jack for the awesome Christmas gift. I enjoy them everyday! You are the best! Love you.
