8 months old

I am a day late on this post, but I still wanted to get it posted! Jentry turned 8 months old yesterday and we are surviving her 2nd ear infection in 2 months :( Amazingly she isn't too fussy or upset about the whole thing...the worst part was having Dr. Miller check out her ears, Jentry doesn't like anything on her face/head touched really...so that was a struggle. Now Jentry is taking the pink meds like a champ 2 times a day and her snotty nose is getting a little better. We haven't really started to do anything new this month...Jentry is still rolling all over our house. In fact the other night I placed her on her blanket in the middle of the living room with all of her toys and went out to the kitchen to wash her bottles. I had my back to the living room when I heard Jentry beating on the kitchen floor...she rolled all the way to the kitchen! She sits like a champ now...she only falls over so that she can roll to get to what she wants. She babbles all the time and is still eating...4 jars of baby food a day and 3-4 bottles too! When we were at Dr. Miller's office the other day Jentry weighed 16 lbs! She did have her clothes on so I know she doesn't quite weigh that much but we will find out a true weight on Tuesday when Jentry gets her 2nd dose of the flu shot. Ok...now for what you really want...here are some new pictures of her :) Jentry is very intrigued with the remote control for the TV. She tries to get her hands on it whenever she can!This is one of my favorite outfits that fit right now. We got this as a gift the week before Jentry was born. We have to modify it a bit so that she can wear it this fall, but I still love it!

New Pics...

So maybe you didn't know...but Jack has been in San Francisco for the last half of this week. Jentry and I are patiently awaiting his arrival home this evening. I can't wait...I don't know about Jentry, but I'm guessing she's ready to see her Daddy too! Anyhow...I love to surprise Jack with new pictures of his precious princess and this time is no exception...and of course she will be 8 months old tomorrow! I would post a copy of her 7 month picture however, it isn't very good, it was taken at school in case you don't remember...I just can't wait to put it out at her graduation open house right next to her senior pictures. Her very first school picture and her last one :) I know I have 17 more years until that happens...but anyhow. I don't have the camera here to take a picture of that picture so it will have to happen another day. Here Comes Fall

The other morning I went outside to leave for work and I quickly ran back in the house to let Jack know that he MUST cover Jentry or put her carrier cover on. He decided to use her carrier cover...and then we both had the same idea...she is so stinking cute peeking out of her carrier cover that we both took pics without knowing that the other one had taken them! He took them in the morning and then when I got home with her in the afternoon I took them too! Here are a few for you to enjoy. I also have to brag for a quick sec...today I had a cleaning appt at the dentist after school. So I picked up Jentry and drove to the dentist...I was hoping she would sleep through my appointment and it would go off without a hitch...well she was awake when we got there so I took off her cover and she sat like a gem in her carseat for the entire 45 minute appt! I was so proud of her for being so content! Ok...now for the pics...

Holy Cow...we have been working with Jentry on this sitting up stuff and I didn't think we were getting anywhere...she prefers to use her Boppy as a La-Z-Boyor eat her toes while I'm trying my hardest to get her to sit up...so anyhow...it seems as if the extra work her "teachers" at "school" have been putting in is working!
